GhanaRentFund Rental Advance — Programme Terms

  1. Loan Agreement: The rental advance is a loan from GhanaRentFund charged at a 5% monthly fee on the outstanding principal (equivalent to GHS 50 per every GHS 1,000 advanced, per month). Repayments are made in monthly instalments over the agreed lease term.
  2. Direct Debit Authorisation: I authorise GhanaRentFund to deduct monthly repayments via my chosen repayment channel — payroll deduction, Mobile Money (MoMo), or bank standing order — for the full duration of the loan.
  3. Late Payment Penalty: Late payments attract a penalty of 5% of the overdue monthly instalment, plus an additional 2% per month on the outstanding amount until the arrears are fully cleared.
  4. Early Repayment Benefit: Full early repayment of the outstanding balance entitles the applicant to a waiver of 75% of the remaining interest charges due at that point.
  5. Subrogation Rights: In the event of default, I authorise GhanaRentFund to exercise subrogation rights under the tenancy agreement, including the right to re-let the property on my behalf to recover the outstanding loan balance.
  6. Data & Privacy: I consent to GhanaRentFund collecting, storing, verifying, and using my personal and financial data for the purposes of this application, credit assessment, and ongoing loan management, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
